This stunning brunette is the most recent addition to the doll family:I just purchased this 1968 reproduction of the All that Jazz Barbie from ebay for about $210 (Japanese market). This is the very limited platinum version (only 1,000 dolls made). I still intend to get the blonde doll, the "gold" version (no more than 12,000 dolls made) which are still available and more affordable!

Here's probably the first "Lara". She is from the Barbie New Generation series (1999). I am seeing her face sculpt and variations on many of the new Barbies (play line and collector). I am wondering if she is a modern variation of Teresa, Barbie's best friend.
